ISLAMABAD: The Ministry of Interior, on the request of National Accountability Bureau (NAB), has included the names of two former prime ministers belonging to the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) in the exit control list (ECL). According to a private TV channel, the names of Yousaf Raza Gillani and Raja Pervez Ashraf have been put on the ECL.

The name of Yousaf Raza Gillani has been put on the ECL in illegal appointment of OGRA’s chief Tauqeer Sadiq while name of Raja Pervez Ashraf in the rental power projects case. “The names of two former prime ministers already existed in the ECL. During this period, Yousaf Raza Gillani had been granted permission by the authorities concerned to travel abroad for one time. The NAB has filed five cases of different natures against Raja Pervez Ashraf and in some cases references have also been sent to various courts.
