Mild earthquake jolts Swat

ISLAMABAD: A moderate 5.0-magnitude earthquake shook northern parts of country during Saturday’s wee hours.

According to Met Department, the epicenter was located in border area of Pakistan, Afghanistan and Tajikistan at a depth of 111 kilometers, a private news channel reported.

Official sources said there were no immediate reports of casualties. The quake was felt in Swat and adjoining areas.
