In a video posted by England Cricket, players can be seen getting out of the team bus and going through the mandatory security check before entering the hotel. Also in the video, hotel staff and Joe Root can be seen greeting each other with smiles on their faces. Star all-rounder Ben Stokes is already in Chennai and serving the quarantine period. The 29-year-old was rested from the Sri Lanka tour. It has also been learnt that India vide-captain Ajinkya Rahane, opener Rohit Sharma and pacer Shardul Thakur arrived in Chennai on Tuesday. A high-octane clash is on cards between the two teams because of their recent triumps in overseas matches, While India registered a thumping 2-1 win in Australia, England outclassed Sri Lanka in the two Test matches in Galle. The two team will play the first two Tests in Chennai before flying to Ahmedabad for the remaining Test and T20I fixtures.
