QUETTA: Former advisor to Balochistan chief minister on finance, Mir Khalid Langove, has been remanded in the custody of the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) for another 14 days for interrogation.
A spokesman for NAB Balochistan said here that the NAB team presented Langove before the Accountability Court and pleaded the Court to grant another remand of him for 14 days.
Langove was in the custody of the NAB in mega corruption case, under which, former finance secretary Balochistan, Mushtaq Ahmed Raisani and some other accused were already in the custody of the country’s largest anti-corruption organisation.
“The court accepting the request of the NAB prosecutor extended the remand of Langove for another 14 days,” the NAB spokesman said. “Now, Langove would be presented before the court on August 09,” he said. Langove was taken brought back to investigation center of the NAB by the NAB team. Heavy security arrangements were made in and around the accountability court.
