HYDERABAD: A district and sessions judge from Hyderabad on Friday granted bail to leader of Pak Sarzameen Party (PSP) Anees Qaimkhani with surety deposit of Rs 0.1 million.
The court granted bail to Qaimkhani with surety deposit of Rs 0.1 million following a case of firing and setting vehicles on fire, which was registered by the Cantonment Police Station in the year 1994.
Earlier, the media aired reports about PSP leader’s ailment in police custody. He was shifted to Jinnah Hospital from Central Jail.
It should be mentioned that Qaimkhani was arrested earlier this month after his bail plea was rejected by an anti-terrorism court in a case against Dr Asim Hussain for providing shelter to criminals and terrorists.
