SHIKARPUR: Despite that all necessary formalities have been fulfilled, Assistant Professors of Sindh [BS-18] are not promoted to BS-19. Reliable sources said on Wednesday that 190 Assistant Professors including 130 male and 60 female have been waiting for their promotion. They said that files submitted for perusal and for further action have not been checked by Special Secretary Sindh, Rizwan Abbas Soomro. The assistant professors of Sindh including Naveed Alam Abro and others demanded of the higher authorities including Chief Minister of Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah to look into the matter and promote them as BS-19 posts are vacant in Sindh.
