Quetta Gladiators skipper Sarfraz Ahmad accused Peshawar Zalmi bowlers with ball tempering, he said a written complain registered as well. A press release regarding ball tempering issue has been issued by PCB on which PCB said that match referee Roshan Mahanama did not receive any complain about changing the condition of the ball.

Earlier, Pakistan Cricket Board has rejected Quetta Gladiators’ ball-tampering concerns against Peshawar Zalmi’s pacer Wahab Riaz on technical grounds, saying no proper procedure was adopted to register the case with the authorities.

A PCB official has confirmed that the matter had been closed as Quetta Gladiators did not follow proper procedure to register complaint against the bowler. “Quetta Gladiators have used umpires’ evaluation form to register concerns against Wahab for alleged ball-tampering during Saturday’s match against Zalmi. Since no proper procedure was adopted to register the complaint, we have decided not to move on the matter any further,” he said.

Chief Executive PCB Wasim Khan Said That “We know that before giving the statement about changing the condition of ball they don’t have strong prove of that and they didn’t official report the matter.

He further said that “We are having the best umpiring penal in PSL who kept a deep sight on the issues, if umpire see something happening with the ball he must launch the inquiry according to the code of conduct”
