Yasir Hussain criticises Botox overuse among Pakistani actors

Author: News Desk

Yasir Hussain, a multi-talented actor, director, writer, and producer, is known for making a strong impact with his limited yet notable projects.

After the success of his directorial debut series ‘Ek Thi Laila’, Yasir is currently working on his next project, ‘Paradise Again’, featuring his wife Iqra Aziz and Shuja Asad. Apart from his creative work, Yasir is recognised for his candid personality and his fearless approach to expressing his opinions.

In recent years, cosmetic procedures like Botox have become increasingly popular in Pakistan, with many celebrities, sports figures, and politicians appearing noticeably transformed compared to their earlier looks. Botox, a toxin that temporarily freezes muscles to reduce wrinkles and fine lines, can lead to a loss of facial expressions if overused.

Yasir recently took to Instagram to share his thoughts on the matter, posting a quote from supermodel Cindy Crawford and urging Pakistani actors to reconsider their excessive use of botox. He highlighted how some actors have completely lost their natural expressions, a concern echoed by many but openly addressed by Yasir.
