CM Punjab orders strict action against dealers, shopkeepers

Chief Minister Punjab has directed heads of Agricultural Department they must take strict action against dealers and shopkeepers who were selling substandard fertilizer and pesticide.

The Agricultural Department collect samples of fertilizer and pesticides the send in laboratory for examine.

If the laboratory report will show mixing in fertilizer and pesticide then department should take strict action while seal the shops of guilty dealer and shopkeeper.

Chief Minister also instructed that department should be formed Task Forces for this purpose. It is learnt that the farmers complained to Chief Minister in person and writing that the dealers and shopkeepers of fertilizer and pesticides are selling substandard and mixed fertilizer and pesticide. After complaints of farmers the Chief Minister instructed to heads of Agricultural Department. Hence the heads Agricultural Department have formed Task Forces while the Agricultural Officers have started raids on shops of dealers and shopkeepers with Task Force.

Meanwhile, The Police arrested the suspect who shot dead his wife and the man with whom she was allegedly having a relationship in Mohallah Amreekpura jurisdiction of Police Station Sambrial.

Reportedly Shan Ali and his wife were living in a rented house. They had two minor children. However allegedly developed Relations with a young man namely Amir. Hence Shan saw and Amir together in objectionable condition while shot both of them and fled. However Police of Police Station Sambrial arrested the suspect and sent him behind the bars. They termed it an honour killing incident.
