A student hailing from Faisalabad stands to help the visually impaired people by developing electronic shoe which detects any obstacle coming to its way.

Shanza Munir, the understudy of Information Technology (IT) at Government College University (GCU) Faisalabad has made the shoe to create easiness for blind community.

The shoes can distinguish any hurdle from 200 cm, and would caution the individual by vibrating.  It is equipped with chargeable batteries and has the option of power button, which would regulate the use of its detective system.

“Blind people face countless hurdles in their daily life routine which is why I decided to work any for them” Miss Shanza told to a national news.

The shoes costs 12000, however, Miss Shanza accepts that in the event that it would be made by industrial facilities the cost will be less expensive.

In 2017, Mujtaba Sajid Kamani an understudy of Aga Khan Higher Secondary School Karachi had contributed in a similar way, he made a bracelet aid for blind persons. Which helped to locate a particular address easily by alarming when the address comes. Meanwhile, Mr Mujtaba had successfully presented his innovation in the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair which was held in California, US.
