Govt planning to embark on three-year National Growth Strategy: Asad Umar

Minister for Planning and Development Asad Umar has said that the government is fully committed to meet the target of expenditures of development funds under Public Sector Development Programme for current fiscal year. He told media here that Prime Minister has issued clear direction to meet the target of spending Rs 701 billion on development projects at any cost. He said his ministry is planning to revamp the system to ensure project development, monitoring and evaluation besides enhancing focus on Sustainable Development Goals. He said the ministry is also planning to embark on a three years National Growth Strategy 2021-2023.
