People from different walks of life, including children and members of the minority communities, participated in the rallies and expressed solidarity with the people of Kashmir, besides condemning the illegal curbs imposed by the Indian authorities in the occupied valley. Moreover, declamation competitions and discussions were arranged in different schools, colleges and universities of Karachi to show solidarity with the Kashmiri brethren.
Various events were also arranged at the Rangers Special Children’s School Toll Plaza, in which children gave performances and presented tableaus.
The students of Rangers Special Children’s School Toll Plaza also participated in the marathon race held at the Moin Khan Academy, which was organised by the Special Olympics Pakistan.
On the other hand, the students of Quaid-e-Azam Rangers Public School Hyderabad, Sukkur and Nawabshah, also participated in speeches and discussions and gave presentations on Kashmir Solidarity Day.
Later, rallies were taken out from various areas of the city, in which students and civil society members participated in large numbers.
