Two terrorists arrested in joint operation by Rangers, CTD

Sindh Rangers and Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) in a joint intelligence-based operation in Karachi’s Orangi Town area on Thursday arrested two suspected militant linked with a banned organisation.

According to Rangers spokesman, on intelligence information, the Rangers and CTD police arrested the suspected militants, Mansoor Ahmed aka Bilal aka Ibrahim aka Sheikh Bhai and Fazal Ghani aka Shafiq aka Najeeb.

According to the details both terrorists are wanted criminals in the CTD red book and belonged to the TTP Ustad Aslam group. Kicking off further investigation, criminals confessed that both are involved in various criminal activities, including target killings, kidnapping for ransom and bank robberies.

Mansoor Ahmed is highly trained criminal belonged to Ustad Aslam group and several times went to Wazistan and Afghanistan, confessed that he is involved in various criminal activities, including target killings, kidnapping for ransom and bank dacoities. In the red book of CTD Mansoor Ahmed’s name is written on page No 56 with serial No 25. The Sindh government were announced Rs 30 lakh for the arrest of Mansoor Ahmed. Fazal Ghani is highly trained criminal belonged to Ustad Aslam group and several times went to Wazistan and Afghanistan, confessed that he is involved in various criminal activities, including target killings, kidnapping for ransom and bank dacoities. In the red book of CTD Mansoor Fazal,s name written on page no 18 and serial no 06. Sindh government were announced Rs 20 lakh for the arrest of Mansoor Ahmed.

On 15th May 2011 criminals involved in the massacre creating in civil hospital Karachi in which they take police into hostage situation and successfully freed their friend from the police custody.

On 25 May 25, Pakistan Sindh rangers conducted intelligence-based operation in Orangi Town, during heavy firing between the rangers and criminals three terrorists killed, two arrested and recovered weapons and ammunition used for criminal activities.

On 24 May 2017, Pakistan Sindh rangers conducted intelligence-based operation and raided in a flat of Sadar Town. , During heavy firing between the rangers and criminals rangers killed Nasir Dada, Anwar Hussain, Abdul Salam and arrested Arshad aka Khalid, Shahzada aka Khalid, officials also recovered 55kg of acumination, 10 grenades and 4 Kalashnikov but both criminals are succeeded to escape.

Weapons and ammunition used for criminal activities has been recovered from them. Masses are requested to report the presence of any such elements immediately to the nearest check post, Rangers’ helpline 1101 or WhatsApp number 03479001111. Identity of the informer shall be kept confidential.
