Sindh Taraqi Pasand Party (STP) chief Dr Qadir Magsi reached SSP Larkana office along with his other party leaders and submitted an application for lodging a case regarding Dr Nimrita Kumari on Tuesday.

While talking to media outside SSP office, Dr Magsi said that four months have passed but inquiry report has not yet been made public. He said after the incident university administration and police had claimed that it was suicide but no evidence was given so that common man could believe in it. He said universities in Sindh have been given to wolves and demons which should be stopped and daughters be given protection. He said it is possible that influential people belonging to the government may be involved in the Nimrita case due to which administration and police are avoiding. He said it is the responsibility of Chief Minister to make inquiry report public for which we had requested him but he did not. He said we do not say that chief minister has killed Nimrita but those who are involved in this murder chief minister is protecting them adding which is why we intend to register case against him because he is equally involved by not making report public, he added.

Dr Magsi said Nimrita was sexually assaulted before murder which was evident from the report. He said Lahore laboratory revealed that finger prints and her scarf were sent after lot of delay due to which nothing came out. He said if police act in such a manner to destroy evidence then we will understand that some influential government people are involved in this crime. He said until they are exposed they will be chased. He said STP General Secretary has been made applicant in this case.

Dr Magsi said that a petition will also be filed in this connection in the Sindh High Court and if court ordered to register case then we will be lodging it. STP Chief said that allegations of SSP Rizwan Memon be probed thoroughly by high court judge and if ministers are found guilty they should be arrested and if SSP is found guilty he should be arrested. He also said that Sehwan incident must also be probed through judicial inquiry to find the truth and guilty must be punished so that no such incident takes place again in future.
