Benazir’s 12th death anniversary — PPP Gujranwala holds procession

A procession related to the 12th death anniversary of Benazir Bhutto was held by Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Gujranwala Chapter at the Gondanwala Road office of PPP Information Secretary Sagheer Butt. PPP local officials as well as ticket holders participated in the meeting, which hold discussions about actively participating in the December 27 procession, to be held in Rawalpindi.

The procession was led by Wadood Dar. City General Khalid Hussain Bajwa, Secretary Information Sagheer Butt, Malik Zulfikar Bhitto, ex-MPA Saood Hassan Dar, Muhammad Haneef, Gullam Jilano, Munawar Bhatti, Sabir Bajwa, Taimoor Dar, Saeed Baig and many more participated in the event. The city secretary, while speaking on the occasion, said that all party workers would ensure their participation in the December 27 procession. All party workers would wave the flag of party on their houses’ roof and streets. He said a rally would go to Rawalpindi through buses and party flags would be waved on the main routes. He said the PPP convoy from the city, consisting of five hundred workers, would reach Rawalpindi. In the end, the party leaders and workers also pray for Asif Ali Zardari’s release from jail and his recovery.
