Forex reserves decline by $270m

Karachi: The total liquid foreign reserves of the country declined by $270 million on the account of external debt servicing during the week ending on December 02, 2016.

According to the central bank the reserve held by the country stood at $23,344.4 million. The foreign reserves held by State Bank of Pakistan stood at $18,353.2 million while commercial banks held $4,991.2 million during the week ending on December 2016.
