The Lahore High Court (LHC) on Monday accepted a petition filed against ride-hailing service Careem for an allegedly unethical advertisement and issued notices to the Punjab government and others to submit their responses by April 5. The LHC was petitioned regarding the matter last week as well, but had disposed off the petition and directed her to approach the Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority for redress of her grievance. Today’s petition was accepted for hearing by the court.
