PM orders steady gas supply for public in winters

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif ordered the Petroleum Ministry to ensure the supply of natural gas to the masses for maximum relief in winters on Wednesday.

A press release stated that the PM held a meeting with Petroleum and Natural Resources Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi.

Abbasi apprised the PM on the ministry’s various projects, specifically in regards to oil and gas exploration. In addition he also discussed the progress of LNG imports and the measures taken to supply fuel to various sectors.

Nawaz also directed the minister to enhance coordination in regard to the ongoing energy projects in the country
