The inaugural Pakistan Golf Federation (PGF) Inter Club Golf Tournament, due to be contested at the Lahore Gymkhana Golf Course over three days from March 15 to 17, has been cancelled. This was announced by the Pakistan Golf Federation through their media representative Khawaja Pervaiz Saeed on Wednesday. This cancellation has been necessitated by the non availability of participating golfers who were due to compete in the finals. Many of them are occupied in other assignments and hence cancellation became inevitable. Plans are that this championship will now be held in the year 2020. As for the Longest Drive competition, which was due to take place on March 14, it has been postponed and will now be held on the occasion of the National Amateur Golf Championship of Pakistan in April 2019.
