ISLAMABAD: After reconciliation with the accused, girlchild Tayyaba, who was allegedly tortured by additional sessions judge and his wife ‘went missing’ in a mysterious way. In a new development, two more persons came to the surface at the PIMS Hospital claiming to be parents of the victim girl. The medical board that was formed on the instructions of the Supreme Court to carry out DNA test of the girl to ascertain her real parents, kept waiting for the whole day on Friday but she did not come for the test. The Federal Police also searched Tayyaba at every possible place but in vain. The mobile phones of all three persons including two women were also switched off. These women claimed that they were the next of kin of the girl. On the missing of the girl, Islamabad Police also tried to locate the girl with the help of some 2000 CCTV cameras installed in different parts of the federal capital under the Safe City Project but they could not find any clue about her. The IG Islamabad has constituted a special investigation team to trace out the girl for re-probing the matter thoroughly on the orders of the Supreme Court. The DIG(Investigation) will lead the enquiry team. The other members of the team will comprise of SSP Capt(R) Ilyas, DSP Bashir Noon, SHO of Police StationI-9 Sector Khalid Awan and investigation officer ASI Shakil Butt. The team will present its report to the Supreme Court within three days.
