‘Don’t sweat the small stuff!’

Hardly any of us is free from stress or has acquired the mastery of defeating it. It is something we all deal with but some of us better than the most. After all its not the load that breaks one down, it is how you handle it and grow. In defense to it, if stress burned calories most of us would have been super models until now.

Few tips and tricks are treasure to get through stress. If stress is getting out of control and one search for a quick relief, don’t forget, music washes away from the soul the dust of everyday life. Virtually, any form of physical activity is a great source of stress reliever. Even if you are not an athlete or you are out of shape, exercise is undoubtedly a good stress reliever. After all our body is doing most of the activity performing all the chores. Exercise refocuses your mind on your body movements which eventually helps improve one’s frame of mind. It fades away the irritation suffered all day around. Consider walking, jogging, gardening, house-cleaning, biking, swimming, weight-lifting or any activity that would get you up and running. Just a quick deed of 15-20 mins that get you back on right track.

For all the married girls out there, what could be better than throwing on some music and cleaning the house? This is more fun than it sounds. The music has the power to boost your mood and energise you. The physical activity of cleaning can provide you with additional doles, and you’ll be left with less cluttered and more soothing environment.

One of the universally practiced form of releasing stress is meditation. During meditation one should attentively focus on quieting the stream of jumbled thoughts that may be trafficking your mind and causing stress. Meditation can instill a sense of calm, peace and balance that can benefit both you emotional well-being and an overall health. A daily 20-30 minutes session is required.

Furtherly, a golden suggestion, ‘I’ve never met a chocolate I didn’t like’. This expresses either you love a chocolate or you are wrong. Forget love and fall in love with chocolates as small amount of good stuff can give wonderful flavors in result. It provides an exercise in mind fullness without those downsides and dark chocolate brings additional benefits as well.

Nevertheless, food is the remedy for everything too but you know what is even more amusing? Making own food. Oh the sweet smell of ‘mac and cheese’ in the kitchen. Stop salivating. Little origination doesn’t hurt anyone so get into your most comfy PJ’s make up a messy bun on head and put on an apron because you’ve got some cooking to do.

Enjoy your ingenuity too as this can be a wonderful way of relievingstrains as well. And it’s not just an activity for an artist. It’s been proven that drawing and coloring can effectively relief stress, so pick up a pencil and squiggle. You could start off by doodling people who are number one on your hate list. Yes I am talking about people who broke your heart. Trust me, it is fun! It is important to implement a step and don’t rush into stuffs.

Why stress about things you can’t fix and why try to fix things which are meant to be broken?

One day, it all goes away.
