The recently released poster of Hareem Farooq and Ali Rehman Khan upcoming film ‘Heer Maan Ja’ has been creating buzz as the two previously starred in ‘Parchi’ which performed well at the box office. In an interview with a local publication Rehman reveals some much awaited details about his character in the new venture. “This film is a romantic comedy and for the first time I am playing a romantic lead. The dynamics work differently because the story is different and so are the characters. It’s too early to talk about the characters and storyline but I can say this, both characters are extremely fun and complicated. each dealing with their own complexity. It’s a fun-paced rom-com for everyone,” the actor said.

“I play a guy named Kabir who is super confident and a go-getter. He does what he feels is right and gets what he wants. The only thing is that he constantly runs into bad luck which adds to a continuous struggle to balance a perfect life – that’s what made this character really enjoyable to play,” he added. Farooq also spoke to the publication about the upcoming film and what her role entails: “For an actor to be playing two diversified characters in a very short time span is an exhilarating experience and I got that with Eman in Parchi and now Heer in our latest film. I couldn’t have asked for a better role,” the actress said.
