PESHAWAR: A Ceremony was held to initiate three days vaccination of Polio campaign by Commissioner Mardan Zakir Hussain on Tuesday at District Mardan.
The Commissioner Zakir Hussain said that the Polio campaign has started and will continue till 19 January 2017. He said during this campaign 386448 children will be vaccinated polio drops and for that 1231 teams has been constituted.
During session Commissioner, Deputy Commissioner Doctor Imran Hamid Sheikh, MPA Zahid Durrani, District Health Officer Doctor Basit Saleem, ADC Afsar Ali, API Coordinator Doctor Mohammad Tahir, AC Khan Mohammad, Ashfaq, DHCO Zawar Hussain and Bakht Zaman was also present.
The Commissioner appealed parents to stop their kids to become victim of Polio Virus and live a life of handicap.
