Bela trembles with earthquake

QUETTA: Light tremors shook Bela – located 120 Km south of Karachi along RCD highway – and its surroundings on Friday.

The earthquake was reportedly of 4.5 intensity, Pakistan Meteorological Department Islamabad stated that its epicentre was reported to be 50 Km NNW of Bela in Balochistan region.

People ran out of their houses and offices into the open fearing a bigger jolt. No reports of loss of life or damage have been reported.
