Bollywood actor Deepika Padukone who recently got married to her ‘Padvamat’ co-star Ranveer Singh, opened up about her equation with Katrina Kaif in an interview with Filmfare. Deepika shared that she’s made her peace with Kaif and continues to have a lot of respect for her– both as a person and as an artist. She added that just the fact that Katrina arrived at their reception and was present in its utmost sense is gracious of her. “A lot of water has flown under the bridge. For me, just the fact that she came and was very present was gracious (of her). I’ve always been fond of her. You know, just the way that she’s been over the years, and with her work and I have a lot of respect for that. I made my peace with her.” For the uninitiated, Katrina attended the reception and later shared that she had a great time and was one of the last ones to leave the party. Her presence at the reception and the fact that she had a great time indeed prove that the actors have put the past behind them and are now on cordial terms with each other. Deepika and Ranveer tied the knot on November 14 and 15 at Lake Como in Italy and even though their wedding ceremonies were private affairs, the duo returned and threw multiple receptions for their friends, family members and industry colleagues.
