PEMRA, ISPR discuss measures to project Pakistan’s soft image

RAWALPINDI: The chairman of Pakistan Electronic and Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA) Muhammad Saleem Baig called on Director General of Inter-Services Public Relations (DGISPR) Major General Asif Ghafoor, a statement from the military’s media wing said on Tuesday.

The PEMRA chief and ISPR DG discussed measures to facilitate Pakistani media in projecting a positive image and narrative of the country, the ISPR statement read.The two also discussed ways of facilitating the local media in effectively countering anti-Pakistan narrative at play through certain ‘foreign media and inimical forces’, the statement added.
