Security situation and issues of mutual interest came under discussion when Station Commander Navy, Commodore Neimat Ullah met Punjab Inspector General (IG) Amjad Jawed Saleemi at Central Police Office (CPO) on Thursday.
The two officials vowed to enhance professional cooperation and coordination between Punjab Police and Pakistan Navy (PN). Commodore Neimat Ullah appreciated modern information technology (IT) projects of Punjab Police, on the occasion. At this, the Punjab IG informed the PN station commander that officials of Punjab Police werehigh alert and endeavoring to maintain law and order situation across the province by adopting smart and community police rules. IG Saleemi further said that the capabilities of force will be enhanced with mutual information sharing and exchange of training instructors between the Punjab Police and PN.
