No vehicle to be allotted against entitlement

A meeting of the Sindh cabinet committee on luxury vehicles was held at new Sindh Secretariat Building on Wednesday.

It was decided in the meeting that no vehicle could be allotted against entitlement and those vehicles which were given against entitlement should immediately be taken back. The meeting also decided to review entitlement policy of vehicles and decided that newly reviewed and approved policy should be submitted before Supreme Court (SC). The meeting stressed upon complete implementation of apex court’s directives.

Sindh Mines and Minerals MinisterMir Shabbir Ali Bijarani. Local Government Minister Saeed Ghani, Excise and Taxation MinisterMukesh Kumar Chawla andsecretary Abdul WahabSoomro, Advisor to CM Sindh for Information Barrister MurtazaWahab Siddiqui also attended the meeting on request of the committee.
