We are looking at a revenue of Rs 376bn through the current budget: revenue minister

Provincial Revenue Minister Malik Muhammad Anwar during a media talk on Tuesday at the Punjab Assembly on the occasion of budget financial year 2018-19, said that no new tax is being imposed in the current budget and Rs 376 billion have been estimated in the form of revenue by the Punjab government.

He said that the e-procurement system is going to be installed to ensure full transparency at government level.

“More reforms will be introduced in Punjab Revenue Authority for improvement,” he said adding that Rs 276 billion is expected in the shape of tax and Rs 100 billion are expected in the shape of non-tax revenue. He hoped that the current budget will further strengthen the 100-day plan of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf.
