The PTI needs time

Author: Muzammil Ferozi

Every good thing to happen, healthy fruits to grow, to change to the old bad system of any society take time, Imran Khan after his early 100 days slight failure in some aspects has been talk of the town, especially on the tongues of opponents who did not do such kind of work for the betterment of Pakistan’s minor cities with the expression of slums.

As we all see on electronic media as well print media the some elements are on the go overreacting against the this new government, in accordance with the analysts, it is considered that PTI is supposed to be given time so as to bring vicissitude in each over corner of the country which is possible by supporting the good ideas of advisors.

No doubt, political opponents are here to lash out the current government; it is their target to point out the drawbacks and to hide the graciousness. Recently, The Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam-F Chief, Maulana Fazlur Rehman went on to throw trash on the weak points of PTI over taking loans from International Monetary Funds (IMF), and increasing prices on utilities, would not be appropriate for the common persons.

PPP leader Khursheed Shah also pointed out PTI’s intentions with IMF despite his earlier claims to not seek financial help in his governance, but I consider that parliament’s supremacy appears to be diminishing.

Fatima Bhutto’s criticism on Imran that country is witnessing extremely worrying censorship is useless. She said, “I don’t see a conversation that empowers the provinces of Pakistan. I see a lot of opportunism in it”.

Bhutto statement against Imran proves nothing was done in the regime of PPP and PML-N after 1970; however PTI is thinking to give authority.

I do remember the history when opponents were also criticizing over the construction of Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital for that Imran also went for collection money from many others, he at all succeeded in his mission and built the hospital which was not a child’s play.

To me almost all Pakistanis are such emotional and want the result the as early as possible but we are supposed to think that structure has drowned down and which is to be rebuilt and the rebuilt is likely to require time like years but not days.

The questions raised in common persons’ minds, how, when and why PTI government is committed to getting rid of the issues, which were left by our old and legislators. The collapsed walls by ex-lawmakers would take time to be constructed which; to me, PTI is looking for the concretes and other materials build it in order to shade Pakistan establishment in tough sunlight from enemy.

I personally suggest that PTI government must expose and bring the corrupt mafia to justice and do away with criticism over the opposition. Every leader of the current regime is responsible for bringing change in sinking Pakistan.

India as usual doesn’t want Pakistan to grow; Imran said Pakistan is reviewing the projects under the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) to safeguard the interest of the people in Balochistan province.

Earlier, Pervez Musharraf Former President of Pakistan thru live TV telecasting passed his view over CPEC that Pakistan will never step back and would continue to work on the project which will benefit the country.

After 2008, PPP’s regime was stronger than the current PTI government, whereas now the opposition is very strong

As I do remember, a decade ago, when Mumbai was attacked by group of terrorist and Pakistan was accused by India, that time Imran being in opposition supported the government which shows positivism from PTI in relation to nationalism.

On the one hand MQM is throwing trash on the current government, on the other hand it is working with the party. It is the best example of double-toughed and double-faced of the elected officials.

It is too early to be disappointed with the PTI government, we must remember that PPP Ex-PM of Pakistan Yousaf Raza Gillani had also increased the rates on wheat after farming the PPP government after the assassination of Benazir Bhutto, former Prime Minister of Pakistan.

After 2008, PPP regime’s democracy was stronger than PTI, whereas now the opposition is strong, PTI has much pressure on its shoulders to wipe out the corruptions, snatchings, abductions, nepotisms, killings, and mainly to finish lack of electricity and water shortage. Now the Punjab’s bureaucracy is sincere to the former PML-N government, it is therefore, it is making governance hard for the PTI, however the government will completely be unable to find its credibility if Asif Ali Zardari, Dr Asim, Sharjeel Memon and others are not punished.

I remember the world cup 1992, when Pakistan cricket team was like today’s Pakistan, no strategy, no plans but Imran that time showed thrilled and showed his leadership, we all have good judgment Pakistan defeated and became the world cup champion for the first time in the history ever.

I think as Pakistan’s foreign policy is often envisages from side to side the prism of the country’s off-again-on-again foreign relations with its western neighbour Afghanistan, the love-hate relationship with the United States, and To my experience; Khans are emotional and devoted to Pakistan is therefore, Imran would be the best to cope with all hatred stuffs from international communities.

Karachi is now the hub of PTI and Karachi is the hub of Pakistan economy, to be till 2023 it is the last wicket of the government to beat the all bad elements which were created by the former governments.
