ISLAMABAD: Former Pakistan all-rounder Shahid Afridi has bagged the unique record of being dismissed for a duck in all major T20 tournaments. During the ongoing Afghanistan Premier League (APL), the 38-year-old was sent packing for a duck against the Kandahar Knights while representing Paktia Panthers. It must be noted that Afridi has now scored a duck in all major T20 leagues – Indian Premier League, Australia’s Big Bash, Sri Lanka Premier League, Bangladesh Premier Leeague, T20 Blast, Pakistan Super League – around the world and also in the ICC World T20. Afridi made his T20I debut for Pakistan in August 2006 against England in Bristol and featured in 99 T20I matches over the course of his career. He scored 1416 runs while also picking up 98 wickets for the Men in Green.
