Bollywood actor Nana Patekar has sent a legal notice to actress Tanushree Dutta over allegations of sexual harassment.
The legal notice sought an apology from the actress as, it claims, she leveled false accusations of sexual harassment on Nana Patekar.
Tanushree, during a TV interview, alleged Patekar sexually harassed her on the sets of her 2008 film Horn OK Please. The actress said that Patekar’s reputation of sexual misconduct is well-known in the industry, but little has been done about it.
Patekar’s lawyer told the media that the veteran actor will come to Mumbai today or tomorrow and address a press conference. “Let him come back and talk, that is the best way to know the fact,” he said.
On the other hand, Tanushree had said that she is putting together a team of lawyers and advocates to defend herself.
