BAHAWALPUR: A seven-day training workshop on photography and theatrical performance jointly arranged by the Bahawalpur Arts Council and the Interactive Resource Centre (IRC) concluded on Monday at the Rashidia Auditorium.
The workshop was aimed at imparting training among youth to promote aesthetic culture of theatrical performance.
Students learned various aspects of drama production in the training workshop. At the concluding ceremony three short plays of ten minutes duration each were also played. Starting from script writing, acting and directing all aspects were performed by the participating students. Similarly, the workshop gave a chance to male and female students to learn basic skills of camera utilisation regarding still photography.
Later, the trainees visited various parts of the city as part of their field training. At the concluding ceremony, Bahawalpur Arts Council Resident Director Rana Ajaz Mahmood, Abdul Khaliq Qureshi, Prof Basit and others gave away certificates among the participants of the training workshop. A large number of art lovers attended the concluding ceremony.
