LARKANA: The Sindh High Court’s (SHC) Larkana circuit bench on Thursday dismissed the petition filed by Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Sindh Chief Nisar Ahmed Khuhro to reconsider his disqualification by the appellate election tribunal in Sukkur.

Reportedly, his rival candidate for the provincial assembly seat PS-11 (Larkana-II) Moazim Ali Abbasi had filed a petition against him over concealment of assets.

On July 6, the SHC rejected his plea against disqualification.

Khuhro was represented by advocates Asif Ali Soomro and Inayatullah Morio, who informed that the reason of his petition’s dismissal would be recorded later.
