SHIKARPUR: The Sindh High Court’s (SHC) Larkana circuit bench on Wednesday approved the nomination forms submitted by the Pakistan Peoples Party’s (PPP) candidate for NA-198 Mir Abid Ali Bhayo.

Reportedly, an independent candidate for NA-198 Ameer Ali Jatoi filed an objection against his rival candidate Bhayo, the PPP’s district president, for possessing two computerised national identity cards (CNICs). Consequently, the appellate tribunal of SHC disqualified Bhayo from contesting the election for NA-198 constituency of Shikarpur-Khanpur. The apex court, however, gave a go-ahead to him when he filed an appeal against his disqualification.
