LAHORE: Former Punjab governor and senior leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar has said that eradication of corruption and beginning of free and fair accountability will mark the ‘start of change in the country’.
“Accountability must be done without discrimination. Corruption must be uprooted and the role of the Supreme Court will be extremely important in this regard,” a statement quoted Sarwar as saying.
“Eradication of corruption is essential for solution to problems facing Pakistan. Role of superior courts including Supreme Court will be vital in eradication of the corruption from the country,” he said, adding that the PTI was fighting a war against corruption for development of the country.
