FO spokesperson further said that Pakistan believed that there was no military solution to the Afghan conflict.

He added that the recent visit of United States (US) State  department official Alice Wells acknowledged Pakistan’s border management system on the Afghan border.

During the briefing, Faisal said that the diplomats residing in Pakistan have been briefed on the recent United Nations’ human rights report over violations in Indian Occupied Kashmir.

He added that India should adhere to international laws and human rights, adding that the world should take notice of Indian atrocities in Kashmir.

Dr Faisal, expressed his condolences over the martyrdom of seven Kashmiris within this month.

Upon being questioned about surfacing rumors claiming Nawaz has sought political asylum in London, Faisal said that he had no information over the matter.

Earlier today, Asif Ali Zardari had claimed that Nawaz Sharif had sought political asylum in London ahead of Avenfield reference verdict.
