Russia condemns terrorist attacks in Pakistan

RAWALPINDI: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa has said that enhancing Pakistan and Russia’s military-to-military cooperation will have positive impact on regional security.

He was talking to Russian Ambassador Alexey Youevich, who met him in Rawalpindi on Tuesday.

COAS thanked the Russian for on-going cooperation with government and armed forces of Pakistan. The ambassador condemned the recent terrorist attacks and expressed grief sorrow on behalf of his country.

The ambassador acknowledged Pakistan’s efforts in fight against terrorism and initiatives for economic growth.

He also appreciated the operation Radd-ul-Fasad and said that it will play a vital role in eliminating terrorism from Pakistan.
