CDA takes over land worth 40 kanals in Lake View Park

Author: Staff Report

ISLAMABAD: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) on Monday took over possession of a 40 kanal land in Lake View Park, which had been leased out to an unknown lessee in 2007.

The land was allotted to a company named Falcon Entertainment Inc but in official files, there is no record of the owner of the company. The CDA, back in 2015, had cancelled the lease agreement, the only available document, but due to process of litigation in the court of law, the possession of the above said land could not be retrieved. On Monday, the environment team of CDA/MCI took over the possession of land after sealing the premises.
