Six suspected militants arrested

LAHORE: The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) on Saturday arrested six alleged terrorists belonging to the Tehreek Taliban Pakistan (TTP).

According to CTD officials, the arrested suspects are: Saad Mehmood and Raja Bashrat from Sattyana Road, Faisalabad. Their facilitators were later arrested form Saggian Bridge, Lahore. Hand grenades as well as explosive materials were also seized from them. The CTD said that the terrorists were planning to attack security installations and other important places across the city. Separately, CTD personnel arrested three terrorists from Jhang and seized explosive material from them. The arrested terrorists were shifted to an unidentified location for further investigation.
