Aalu Shimla Mirch

A healthy option to your oily aalu ki sabzi. Try our Aalu Shimla Mirch which is as scrumptious as your Aalu sabzi. Eat it as it is or with some roti.

Ingredients

A potato

A cup of water

Half shimla mirch

Half an onion

Cheese

Salt

Pepper powder

For garnishing

Coriander

Chilli flakes

Method

Peel off the potatoes skin and cut them into small pieces. Now take a mug and add the chopped potatoes in the mug. Add water and put them in the microwave for three minutes. Check if it is cooked otherwise put them back for another 30 seconds. Take it out and drain the water. Slice the shimla mirch and half an onion. Add it to the potatoes. Now add some pepper, salt, shred some cheese and mix it well. Add more cheese over the top to make it more cheesy. Microwave it for a minute on high or until the cheese melts. For garnishing, add some coriander and chilli flakes. Delicious and tasty Aalu Shimla Mirch is ready to be served.

Banana Oatmeal Crumb Cake

Ingredients

Half a cup of butter

Softened two to three cups of packed brown sugar

Two eggs

A cup of mashed bananas

A teaspoon of vanilla extract

Three fourths of cup all-purpose flour

1 1/3 cups rolled oats

1/4 teaspoon salt

A teaspoon of baking soda

3/4 cup rolled oats

1/3 cup packed brown sugar

Two tablespoons butter, melted

Two tablespoons of chopped walnuts

Half a teaspoon of ground cinnamon

Directions

Stir together flour, 1 1/3 cups oats, salt, and baking soda. In a large bowl, cream half cup butter or margarine with 2/3 cup brown sugar. Beat in the eggs, then the bananas and vanilla. Beat the flour mixture into the banana mixture. Turn the batter into a greased and floured 8 inch square pan. Mix 3/4 cup oats, 1/3 cup brown sugar, melted butter or margarine, walnuts, and cinnamon together until crumbly. Sprinkle evenly over the top of the batter. Bake in preheated oven at 350 degrees F for 40 to 45 minutes, or until it tests done. Transfer to a rack to cool.

Chocolate Cookie Cake in a Mug

Two tablespoons of butter

A tablespoon of granulated sugar

A tablespoon of brown sugar, firmly packed

Half a teaspoon of vanilla extract

An egg yolk

Three tablespoon of all-purpose flour

One-two tablespoons of chocolate chips

Cocoa powder

Method

Heat the butter in a microwave for 20-30 seconds. Now add a tablespoon of brown sugar and sugar, half a teaspoon of vanilla extract and mix it well. Add an egg yolk and mix it. Now add three tablespoons of all-purpose flour, one-two tablespoons of chocolate chips and cocoa powder and stir it well. Add choco chips for garnishing. Microwave on high for 60 seconds. Hot and delicious Chocolate Cookie Cake in a Mug is ready to serve!
