KARACHI: United Bank Limited (UBL) crushed Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) by seven wickets in the semi-finals to qualify for the final of the One-day Cup for Departments at NBP Stadium here Thursday. Chasing winning target of 236, Shan Masood hammered a scintillating century as UBL raced home in 40.5 overs after losing 3 wickets. The other main contributor for the winners was Sohaib Maqsood who played a dazzling knock of 89 off 94 balls with 10 fours and two sixes. Earlier, Sami Aslam hit a half century as SSGC made 235 all out in 49.1 overs. Muhammad Asghar 2-34, Sameen Gul 2-41, Mir Hamza 2-55 claimed wickets.
