Gujranwala: Assistant commissioner Rao Sohail Akhtar has said that no one would be allowed to play with the lives and properties of the citizen, elements involved in illegal manufacturing and refilling of gas cylinders would be dealt with iron hands. While talking to the “Daily Times” he claimed that dozens of factories involved in manufacturing the sub standard gas cylinders have been sealed in recent days while a large number of shopkeepers have also been fined who were involved in refilling the gas cylinders illegally. He said the district administration would not only check the unlicensed sale and storage of LPG, but also keep an eye on substandard gas cylinders. he said crackdown against manufacturing of sub standard gas cylinders and illegally refilling of LPG would be continued in the next days also and violators would be locked in the jails.

Meanwhile, the Gujranwala Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education has declared result of inter supplementary examination 2017 here on Wednesday. According to details total 29993 candidates appeared in the exam from which 9550 declared successful with 31.84 pass percentage. In pre medical group 2130 candidates appeared and 1057 could got passing marks, in pre engineering group 1959 appeared and 972 stood successful, in general science group 1427 candidates out of 3255 passed the exam, in commerce 838 out of 3218 declared successful while in humanities group 19431 appeared from which only 5256 could got passing marks.
