Justice for Zainab

Author: Daily Times

Sir: In Kasur, seven year old Zainab was kidnapped violated. Later she was brutally murdered. People have taken to the streets to protest against this incident. People have thronged the police stations in Kasur. This is not the first time this sort of incident has happened in the district.

She was buried amidst tears and cries. It is agonising and shocking to even hear about such incidents. ARY TV Channel broke this tragic news. Where are the champions of human rights? Who will provide justice to the victims of such crimes and their parents? The culprits have not been arrested yet. The incident has shaken the entire nation. May Allah the Almighty rest the departed soul in peace and eternal tranquility. Instead of protecting innocent children, Rana Sana Ullah, the Law Minister of Punjab has ridiculed and blamed the media for instigating the people and questioning the police’s efficacy.
