Do you want me to be completely honest?
I have always been terrified of love.
Any kind of love.
With the chances of being blissful or miserable,
To wonder if I fly or if I fall.
God because,
It’s so beautiful and so chaotic
The idea that it could save me or kill me
The idea that those I love
Could make me melt into their palms
And of how for them I would turn to stone
And the idea that all this could vanish
In mere seconds
You see,
I am like a machine
Error printed across its screen
Programmed to feel a certain way
To feel the bare minimum
No matter how much love you may show me
There will always be a part that thinks you don’t
