After the leaks of the NTS paper answer keys, another incident has taken place. Entry tests for the Quaid-e-Awam University of Engineering Sciences and Technology Nawabshah were conducted on 19 September and they have provided a pass provisional list of candidates who had obtained marks over 40 percent.

In the Hyderabad district, five seats were won by candidates from urban areas and six were won by candidates from rural areas. But when a list of names of candidates selected on merit was uploaded, an extra name was added to the list on number 5. However, that candidate’s name wasn’t even on the pass provisional list. How could his name come on the merit list?

After this, more misconduct followed. When the second merit list was uploaded in which two candidates from rural areas and four from urban areas were selected, it became apparent that the rural candidate’s seats were only given seats at the QUEST campus at Larkana. It is my request that the governor of Sindh and the Vice Chancellor of the university take notice of this misconduct and protect student’s rights.
