KARACHI: Hub Industrial Area to have an industrial treatment plant of international standard soon as the Balochistan government has given a go-ahead to the Balochistan Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), said EPA Director General Tariq Zehri during a meeting with Lasbela Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) President Ismail Suttar on Friday.
During the meeting, Zehri announced that the EPA Balochistan will build a International Standard Common Effluent Treatment Plant for disposal of industrial and domestic liquid effluent in cooperation with the Lasbela Chamber.
Earlier, Suttar while welcoming the guest and participants assured the EPA chief of his full cooperation and from the industries at Hub and Lasbela in achieving 100% compliance of Environmental Laws, as it is necessary for our future generations.
