Islamabad High Court has granted approval to move Parvez Elahi, the former Chief Minister of Punjab and a leader of PTI, from jail to either a hospital or his home, which could be treated as a sub-jail. This decision came after a request from Qaisara Elahi, with Justice Arbab Muhammad Tahir overseeing the case.

The court has directed the Ministry of Interior to speed up the process of organizing house arrest for Parvez Elahi, with a deadline of 15 days. Also, the court has said that Parvez Elahi should get medical care according to his preferences. This news is a big change in the legal process involving Parvez Elahi’s imprisonment.
