Islamabad High Court has granted approval to move Parvez Elahi, the former Chief Minister of Punjab and a leader of PTI, from jail to either a hospital or his home, which could be treated as a sub-jail. The court has directed the Ministry of Interior to speed up the process of organizing house arrest for Parvez Elahi, with a deadline of 15 days.
