Sir: The recently concluded nuclear summit was the usual fare with leading world powers professing ways to keep the world safe from nuclear harm. However, this is not what we need at this time, a time of volatility and turmoil where countries around the world are embroiled in stand offs. What we truly need are leaders who are willing to abolish nuclear weapons for good and destroy their own stockpiles. Unless this is done, no other country or rogue power will ever let go of their devious designs when it comes to nuclear proliferation. The only way to keep the world safe from nuclear weapons is to not have them in the first place.
