Tackling terrorism

Author: Daily Times

Sir: It was heartbreaking to learn that the Taliban in a Peshawar school killed over 140 people, including 132 children.

I was shocked at seeing those horrific pictures on the media. Revenge — an eye for an eye — is the root cause of the mushrooming terror menace. Ignoring this menace is adding to the terror threats. Right now, in the aftermath of the Peshawar massacre, revenge must be prevented at all possible costs. However, all countries across the world and the media should show courage and tackle the terror threats head-on for the sake of world peace.
